Path of Life

© Mac Kristin

“Path of Life” is a four-part visual cycle exploring the emotional, psychological, and intuitive stages of growth. Through flowing green energy and layered composition, the series moves from containment to expansion, echoing how identity is shaped not in straight lines, but in tension, release, and reflection.

Each work in the series marks a distinct stage — not chronologically, but emotionally. Like phases of becoming, seen through layers of gesture and space.

I. Emergence

The beginning is quiet. A pulse under the surface. Emergence speaks of what’s not yet spoken — a tension held in the body, a presence forming without shape. It’s the moment just before something stirs, framed in stillness.

II. Unfolding

Here, movement takes over. Unfolding expresses a release of held energy — organic, raw, and untamed. The gestures flow freely, like instincts surfacing for the first time. Vulnerability becomes momentum. Form becomes emotion.

III. Becoming

Becoming is the phase where movement starts to hold itself. There’s rhythm now, a language emerging from the chaos. The brushstrokes are bolder, more knowing — yet still fluid. It is a search for identity in motion.

IIII.Reflection

Reflection closes the cycle with a mirrored stillness. Not a return, but a reckoning. The form contains memory, movement, and maturity. What once pressed outward now folds inward, holding space for what was found — and what remains unknown.
